This was one of my favorite evenings with Frances. We went to her favorite restaurant, Cafe Collette, where all of the waiters still remembered her from years back. It was a reflection of how engaging and magnetic she was. She made people feel happy, seen, and joyous in her presence. After dinner, we all returned back to the apartment where we had the most roaring game of beer pong. All were involved: Doms invoking his days at US college, Eddy inventing new rules, Peter being a sleeper cell ace (sinking all of his shots to win the final game), and Frances commentating with her Scottish wit and joyous yelps. We listened to her (and my) favorite classic pop radio station, singing, drinking, and sinking the night away. What a special time.
